The said machine produced by Oref Ice System is convetionally called MS (Scaled Ice Machine), initials which are always followed by a number expressing the ice daily ratend production in quintals. Therefore the type of models, from MS8 to MS40, our products can answer our costomers’ different requirements.

For what concerns the food preservation, in particularin the fishing-sector, the use of scaled ice instead of traditional choped ice has many advantages. First of all the production gets cheaper, especially in case of big quantities. Besides there are no cutting corners on the scaled ice surface while they are present on the chopped fragments and often cause small lacerationson the external surface of the product with a consequent rapid deterioration of goods, also from the aesthetic point of view, when they are defrostend.
